LoRaWAN communication module for Itron CF ECHO II/51/55
The CMi4130 ELVaco Module for Itron CF ECHO II/51/55 LoRaWAN is an integrated meter communication module designed to add wireless LoRaWAN connectivity to compatible Itron heat meters and calculators. It is installed directly inside the meter and transfers meter data to a receiving server without requiring an external communication unit.
The module communicates through an 868 MHz LoRaWAN network and can send meter data through a compatible LoRaWAN gateway to an energy management or meter-reading platform.
Integrated LoRaWAN meter communication
The CMi4130 is compatible with Itron CF ECHO II heat meters and Itron CF 51/55 calculators with supported firmware. It can be retrofitted into already installed meters and automatically performs a compatibility check when started.
Configuration and commissioning are performed through NFC using the Elvaco OTC app. The module supports OTAA and ABP activation, LoRaWAN Class A operation and configurable transmission intervals. Elvaco EcoMode is designed to provide at least 11 years of battery operation under the specified operating conditions.

Installation and connection
Install the CMi4130 in the module slot of a compatible Itron CF ECHO II or CF 51/55 meter and activate the module before joining the LoRaWAN network. Configure the required transmission settings through the Elvaco OTC app using NFC. A compatible LoRaWAN gateway, network server and receiving platform are required for remote meter reading.
