Split-core current transformer for AC current measurement
The Current transformer CG Split core, 400A/5A Ø36mm is a Carlo Gavazzi split-core current transformer designed for AC current measurement in existing electrical installations. The split-core construction allows installation around an existing conductor without removing the cable, making it suitable for retrofit energy monitoring and sub-metering.
The transformer has a rated primary current of 400 A and provides a standard 5 A secondary output for connection to compatible energy meters, power analyzers and monitoring equipment.
400 A current measurement with 36 mm opening

Installation and connection
Open the split-core transformer and install it around the relevant phase conductor while observing the correct current direction and polarity.
