LoRaWAN temperature sensor with external probe
The D20-LB DRA Temperature sensor with external probe LoRaWAN is a battery-powered Dragino temperature sensor designed for remote temperature monitoring in IoT, building, refrigeration and industrial applications. It uses an external DS18B20 probe to measure temperature and sends the readings wirelessly through a LoRaWAN network.
The sensor can transmit measurement data through a compatible LoRaWAN gateway to an IoT or energy-monitoring platform. The D20-LB operates as a LoRaWAN Class A device and supports regional bands including EU868, US915, AS923, AU915 and others. :contentReference[oaicite:0]{index=0}
External probe for -55 to +125 °C measurement
The D20-LB uses one external Dallas DS18B20 temperature probe, supplied with a standard cable length of approximately 2 metres. The measurement range is -55 to +125 °C with an accuracy of ±0.5 °C under normal specified conditions. :contentReference[oaicite:1]{index=1}
Configurable temperature alarms can generate additional uplinks when defined thresholds are reached. The sensor also supports data logging so measurements can be stored when LoRaWAN coverage is unavailable and uploaded when the network connection is restored. :contentReference[oaicite:2]{index=2}
Configuration can be performed through Bluetooth 5.1, LoRaWAN downlinks and wireless OTA firmware updates. See the official Dragino D20-LB product information and documentation for setup instructions and LoRaWAN configuration details.
