Three-phase energy analyzer for Rogowski coils and Modbus RTU
The EM530DINRG53XS1X EM530 RG CG Indirect 3 Phase to Rogowski coils Modbus is a Carlo Gavazzi three-phase energy analyzer designed for indirect current measurement with Rogowski coils. It is particularly suitable for retrofit energy monitoring where flexible current sensors simplify installation around existing cables and busbars.
The EM530 RG connects directly to compatible 100 mV/kA at 50 Hz Rogowski coils without requiring an external integrator. Measured energy and electrical parameters can be transferred to building management, SCADA or energy monitoring systems through the integrated RS485 Modbus RTU interface.
Three-phase energy measurement with Rogowski coils
The analyzer supports two- and three-phase electrical systems up to 415 V L-L and measures both consumed and generated energy. It is compatible with Carlo Gavazzi ROG4X and ROG4U Rogowski coil families and supports a maximum primary current of up to 2880 A with the specified Rogowski input.
Modbus RTU provides access to real-time measurement data with refresh rates down to 100 ms, making the meter suitable for load monitoring, dynamic power management and detailed energy analysis.

Installation and connection
Mount the EM530 RG on a DIN rail and connect the voltage inputs according to the electrical system configuration. Install one compatible Rogowski coil around each monitored phase conductor and connect the coils directly to the analyzer. Connect the RS485 interface to the Modbus RTU network for remote data collection. Installation should be carried out by qualified personnel in accordance with applicable electrical safety requirements.
