UK LoRaWAN smart plug with energy measurement and remote switching
The LW22PLG01 Enginko Smartplug UK Version LoRaWAN is the UK plug version of Enginko's LoRaWAN energy meter plug. It combines electrical energy monitoring, remote ON/OFF control and mains-outage detection in a compact plug-in device for 230 V AC loads.
The smart plug communicates through LoRaWAN Class C on EU868 and can send measurement data through a compatible LoRaWAN gateway to an IoT or energy-management platform. Enginko identifies EGK-LW22PLG01 specifically as the UK version of the energy meter plug.
Energy monitoring and remote load control
The LW22PLG01 measures active, reactive and apparent energy together with instantaneous active, reactive and apparent power, voltage and current. The integrated output can be switched remotely, allowing connected equipment to be monitored and controlled through the LoRaWAN network.
The device supports configurable time-based or threshold-based uplinks, Bluetooth 5.0 for local configuration and firmware updates, and a rechargeable battery for reporting mains power outages. It also supports OTAA and ABP LoRaWAN activation.

Installation and connection
Connect the LW22PLG01 between a compatible UK 230 V outlet and the electrical load to be monitored. Configure the LoRaWAN credentials and operating parameters through Bluetooth and register the device with the LoRaWAN network server. A compatible LoRaWAN gateway is required for remote monitoring and control. Follow Enginko's specified current and temperature limits for the connected load.
