LoRaWAN ultrasonic water meter for residential and commercial metering
The QALCOSONIC W1 AXI 4m3/h, DN20, 190mm G1, Composite LoRaWAN is a static ultrasonic water meter designed for accurate measurement of cold and hot water consumption in residential buildings, apartment properties and small commercial installations.
The meter has no moving measuring parts and uses ultrasonic technology for stable long-term flow measurement. Integrated LoRaWAN communication enables remote meter reading through a compatible LoRaWAN gateway and monitoring platform.
Ultrasonic water measurement
This configuration has a nominal flow Q3 of 4.0 m³/h, DN20 connection, 190 mm overall length and G1 thread. The composite housing is rated IP68, while the meter supports multiple installation positions without requiring straight pipe sections before or after the meter.
The QALCOSONIC W1 supports configurable bi-directional flow measurement and includes an internal data logger for hourly, daily and monthly historical values. Alarm functions include leakage, burst, backflow, empty pipe, low battery and communication warnings.

Installation and connection
Install the meter in a DN20 pipeline with G1 connections and observe the flow direction indicated on the meter body. No straight pipe sections are required before or after the meter. A compatible LoRaWAN gateway, network server and monitoring platform are required for remote meter reading.
