Compact heat meter with LoRaWAN communication
The Sensostar 1,5m3 110mm DN15 TempSensorØ5mm LoRaWAN is an Engelmann compact thermal energy meter designed for heat metering in residential, commercial and building energy applications. This configuration has a nominal flow rate of 1.5 m³/h, DN15 nominal diameter, 110 mm installation length and Ø5 mm temperature sensors.
Integrated LoRaWAN communication enables automated remote meter reading through a compatible LoRaWAN gateway, network server and energy-management or billing platform.
1.5 m³/h DN15 thermal energy measurement
The DN15 meter body has a G3/4B connection and a compact 110 mm installation length. Thermal energy is calculated from measured volume flow together with the temperature difference between the supply and return circuits.
The SensoStar platform uses Pt1000 temperature sensors and supports Ø5 mm probes. LoRaWAN is available as a wireless communication option, allowing consumption data to be collected without local manual meter reading.
The meter provides an LCD display, optical interface and internal historical data storage. With LoRaWAN communication, the replaceable lithium battery is designed for approximately 10 years of operation under the manufacturer's specified communication conditions.

Installation and connection
Install the meter in the heating circuit according to the specified flow direction and installation requirements. Position the supply and return temperature sensors in the designated measurement points. For remote reading, commission the LoRaWAN communication and connect the meter to a compatible LoRaWAN gateway and network server.
