The Sharky 775 3,5m3 260mm DN25 TempSensor Ø5,2mm LoRaWAN is a Diehl Metering ultrasonic compact energy meter designed for heat and thermal energy measurement in residential, commercial and district heating installations. This configuration has a nominal flow rate of 3.5 m³/h, DN25 nominal diameter and an overall installation length of 260 mm.
The SHARKY 775 uses ultrasonic flow measurement without moving mechanical measuring parts. LoRaWAN communication enables remote meter reading through a compatible LoRaWAN gateway, network server and receiving energy-management or billing platform.
3.5 m³/h DN25 thermal energy measurement
This SHARKY 775 configuration combines a qp 3.5 m³/h flow sensor with DN25 nominal diameter and 260 mm overall length. Diehl specifies a maximum flow rate qs of 7 m³/h and a standard dynamic range of 1:100 for this meter size.
The meter supports Pt100 or Pt500 temperature sensors with Ø5.2 mm probes. Thermal energy is calculated from the measured flow together with the temperature difference between the supply and return circuits.
