LoRaWAN ultrasonic water meter for commercial and building applications
The Water meter QALCOSONIC W1 AXI 10m3/h, DN32, 260mm G1 1/2, Composite LoRaWAN is a static ultrasonic water meter designed for accurate measurement of cold and hot water consumption in apartment buildings, commercial premises and larger property installations.
The meter uses ultrasonic measurement technology with no moving measuring parts. Integrated LoRaWAN communication enables remote meter reading through a compatible LoRaWAN gateway and monitoring platform.
Ultrasonic water measurement
This configuration has a nominal flow Q3 of 10 m³/h, DN32 connection, 260 mm overall length and G1 1/2 thread. The durable composite housing is IP68 rated and the meter can be installed horizontally, vertically or diagonally without straight pipe sections before or after the meter.
The QALCOSONIC W1 supports bi-directional flow measurement and stores hourly, daily and monthly historical values in its internal data logger. Alarm and diagnostic functions include leakage, burst, backflow, empty pipe, low battery and radio communication warnings.

Installation and connection
Install the meter in a DN32 pipeline with G1 1/2 connections and observe the flow direction indicated on the meter body. No straight pipe sections are required before or after the meter. A compatible LoRaWAN gateway, network server and monitoring platform are required for remote meter reading.
