LoRaWAN ultrasonic water meter for commercial and building applications
The Water meter QALCOSONIC W1 AXI 16m3/h, DN40, 300mm G2, Composite LoRaWAN is a static ultrasonic water meter designed for accurate measurement of cold and hot water consumption in commercial buildings, larger residential properties and utility installations.
The meter uses ultrasonic measurement technology with no moving measuring parts. Integrated LoRaWAN communication enables remote meter reading through a compatible LoRaWAN gateway and monitoring platform.
Ultrasonic water measurement
This configuration has a nominal flow Q3 of 16 m³/h, DN40 connection, 300 mm overall length and G2 thread. The composite housing provides a lightweight and durable solution with IP68 protection for indoor and outdoor installations.
The QALCOSONIC W1 supports bi-directional flow measurement and includes an internal data logger for historical consumption values. Alarm and diagnostic functions can indicate conditions such as leakage, burst, reverse flow, empty pipe and low battery.

Installation and connection
Install the meter in a DN40 pipeline with G2 connections and observe the flow direction indicated on the meter body. No straight pipe sections are required before or after the meter. A compatible LoRaWAN gateway, network server and monitoring platform are required for remote meter reading.
