LoRaWAN ultrasonic water meter for commercial and industrial metering
The Water meter QALCOSONIC W1 AXI 40m3/h, DN50, 200mm DN50 (Flange), Composite LoRaWAN is a static ultrasonic water meter designed for accurate measurement of cold and hot water consumption in commercial buildings, larger properties and industrial installations.
The meter uses ultrasonic measurement technology with no moving measuring parts. Integrated LoRaWAN communication enables remote meter reading through a compatible LoRaWAN gateway and monitoring platform.
Ultrasonic water measurement
This configuration has a nominal flow Q3 of 40 m³/h, DN50 flanged connection and 200 mm overall length. The composite housing and IP68 protection make it suitable for demanding water metering applications.
The QALCOSONIC W1 supports bi-directional flow measurement and includes internal logging of hourly, daily and monthly values. Alarm and diagnostic functions include leakage, burst, backflow, empty pipe, low battery and radio communication warnings.

Installation and connection
Install the meter in a DN50 flanged pipeline and observe the flow direction indicated on the meter. A compatible LoRaWAN gateway, network server and monitoring platform are required for remote meter reading and data collection.
