LoRaWAN water leak sensor for early leakage detection
The WS303 MS water LoRaWAN is a compact wireless water leak sensor designed for early detection of water and other conductive liquids in buildings, technical rooms, server rooms, laboratories, bathrooms and other leak-prone areas.
When liquid reaches the sensor probes, the WS303 can trigger an immediate local buzzer alarm and transmit the leakage status through LoRaWAN to a compatible LoRaWAN gateway and monitoring platform for remote alarms and event logging.
Water leak detection and alarms
The WS303 detects conductive liquids when the liquid level reaches approximately 0.5 mm. Its compact design makes it suitable for installation under equipment, near pipes, beneath sinks or in other locations where water is likely to accumulate first.
The built-in buzzer provides a local alarm, while Milesight D2D can enable direct communication with compatible Milesight controllers for fast local automation without relying on a LoRaWAN gateway.
Configuration and operation
The sensor is configured through NFC using the Milesight ToolBox app or remotely through LoRaWAN downlink commands. It is battery powered, IP67 rated and designed for long-term wireless operation.

Installation and connection
Place the sensor where leaking water is expected to reach first or where liquid can accumulate. For remote monitoring, a compatible LoRaWAN gateway, network server and monitoring platform are required.
