Three-phase energy meter for current transformers with external antenna and LoRaWAN
The Pro II 3/5 EMU Indirect 3 Phase to Current transformer w. ext. antenna LoRaWAN is an EMU Professional II three-phase energy meter designed for indirect current measurement using external current transformers with a 5 A secondary output. It is suitable for commercial, industrial and building energy applications where higher currents need to be measured through external CTs.
The meter integrates LoRaWAN communication and is configured for use with an external antenna, allowing more flexible antenna placement in electrical cabinets and other installations where radio conditions may be challenging. Measurement data can be transmitted through a compatible LoRaWAN gateway to a network server and energy-management platform.
Indirect three-phase measurement with configurable CT ratio
The Professional II 3/5 version is designed for current transformers with a 5 A secondary output. The CT ratio can be configured to match the installed transformers, making the meter suitable for a wide range of electrical installations and current levels.
The meter supports bidirectional energy measurement and can register imported and exported active and reactive energy. The Professional II platform also includes a configurable S0 pulse output and a graphical LCD display for local reading and commissioning.
The external antenna option allows the LoRaWAN antenna to be positioned separately from the meter, which can improve installation flexibility where the meter is installed inside metal distribution boards or other enclosed locations.
See the official EMU Professional II product information and documentation for detailed electrical specifications, communication settings and installation requirements.
