The Sensative Strips Presence Sensor LoRaWAN is an ultra-thin wireless occupancy sensor designed for discreet presence detection in offices, hot-desking environments and smart buildings. The sensor uses active infrared technology to detect people or objects at close range and can be installed almost invisibly under desks or furniture.
Occupancy data is transmitted through LoRaWAN to a compatible LoRaWAN gateway and monitoring platform, providing a data basis for workspace utilisation, occupancy analytics and facility management.
Presence and occupancy detection
The sensor detects presence using active IR technology with a configurable detection distance of up to approximately 50 cm. This makes it particularly suitable for desk-level occupancy monitoring where precise local detection is required.
Its ultra-thin design of less than 3 mm allows discreet installation without interfering with users, furniture or daily cleaning. The integrated adhesive backing simplifies installation without cabling.

Installation and connection
