LoRaWAN communication module for Kamstrup MULTICAL meters
The IM3100 NAS Module for Kamstrup multical 303/403/603/803 LoRaWAN is an internal Nordic Automation Systems communication module designed to collect heat consumption data from compatible Kamstrup MULTICAL meters and transmit it wirelessly through a LoRaWAN network.
The module is installed directly inside the meter and uses a bidirectional long-range LoRaWAN transceiver for automated meter reading. Data can be transmitted through a compatible LoRaWAN gateway to a network server and energy-management or billing platform.
Integrated LoRaWAN heat meter communication
The IM3100 provides direct access to Kamstrup meter data through the internal Kamstrup data interface. Reporting intervals are configurable, allowing the communication profile to be adapted to the required balance between data frequency and power consumption.
The module includes two pulse input ports, secure LoRaWAN communication, an internal antenna and an MCX connector for an optional external antenna. NAS describes the product as maintenance-free after installation and designed for straightforward integration into compatible MULTICAL meters.

Installation and connection
