LoRaWAN communication module for Kamstrup MULTICAL meters
The NAS Module for Kamstrup multical 6X/601/602/6M2 LoRaWAN is an internal Nordic Automation Systems communication module designed to collect heat consumption data from compatible Kamstrup MULTICAL meters and transmit it automatically through a LoRaWAN network.
The module is installed directly inside the existing meter and communicates through a bidirectional long-range LoRaWAN transceiver. Meter data can be transmitted through a compatible LoRaWAN gateway to a network server and energy-management or billing platform.
Integrated LoRaWAN heat meter communication
The LoRaWAN MULTICAL Module I is designed for Kamstrup MULTICAL 61, 62, 66, 601, 602, 801 and 6M2 meters. The module supports configurable reporting intervals and secure communication, allowing the data transmission profile to be adapted to the application.
Two pulse input ports are available for additional meter inputs. The module also provides a DC output for the Kamstrup module and supports an internal BT antenna together with an MMCX or U.fl connector for an optional external antenna.
The module is MID certified and designed for straightforward internal installation with minimal maintenance after commissioning.

Installation and connection
Install the module in the designated internal module position of a compatible Kamstrup MULTICAL meter and configure the required reporting interval and LoRaWAN parameters.
